Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 22/09/2026.

We at Tac-Offroad Training and Consulting are working to make our site www.tacoffroadtraining.com.au accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility Statement

Tac-Offroad Training & Consulting is committed to providing an inclusive, respectful and accessible training environment that supports participants with different abilities, backgrounds and learning needs.

Tac-Offroad currently delivers nationally recognised training in partnership with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). The relevant partner RTO retains responsibility for the nationally recognised training and assessment requirements, including the issuing of qualifications and Statements of Attainment. Tac-Offroad works within the policies, procedures and assessment requirements of the relevant partner RTO when delivering training on its behalf.

We recognise that some participants may require additional support or reasonable adjustments to participate effectively in training and assessment. Participants are encouraged to advise Tac-Offroad of any accessibility requirements, disability, injury, literacy or learning needs, or other circumstances that may affect their ability to participate in training.

Where appropriate, Tac-Offroad will work with the participant and the relevant partner RTO to identify reasonable adjustments. These may include modifications to the training environment, additional explanation or demonstration, additional time where permitted, alternative presentation of learning materials, appropriate assistance with written information, or other reasonable measures that support participation.

Reasonable adjustments will not remove or alter the inherent requirements of a nationally recognised unit of competency. Participants must still demonstrate the required skills and knowledge and meet all assessment requirements established by the relevant training package and partner RTO. Adjustments must also not compromise participant safety, the safety of others, or the integrity of the assessment process.

Some Tac-Offroad courses involve practical activities conducted in outdoor, remote or off-road environments. These may include uneven terrain, vehicle operations, first aid scenarios, physical casualty-management activities and other practical tasks. Participants with accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact Tac-Offroad before enrolling or attending so that the training environment and course requirements can be discussed and appropriate arrangements considered.

Where Tac-Offroad cannot independently approve a requested adjustment for nationally recognised training, the request will be referred to the relevant partner RTO for consideration and approval.

Tac-Offroad is committed to treating all participants with dignity and respect and providing fair and reasonable opportunities to participate in training. We encourage participants to contact us as early as possible if they have accessibility or support requirements so that we can work with them and, where applicable, our partner RTO to determine an appropriate approach.
